Guide to Best Practice Maintenance & Operations of HVAC Systems for Energy Efficiency

In accordance with the Government’s National Framework for Energy Efficiency (NFEE), GHD was engaged by the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency to produce the “Guide to Best Practice Maintenance & Operation of HVAC Systems for Energy Efficiency”.

Following extensive industry consultation, the final document is ready to be released. The presentation will cover the project background plus an overview of the guide.

David is a Principal ESD Consultant at GHD and currently manages GHD Perth’s Building Services group that includes Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Security and Asset and Facilities Management disciplines. He is a NABERS accredited assessor and an accredited Greenstar Professional.

With over 16 years’ experience within the Building Services and Facilities Management industry ranging from consulting to HVAC equipment design and manufacture. David’s experience in Operation, Maintenance and Energy Management is built on a strong working knowledge of a wide variety of facilities.

David is currently a Director of the Facility Management Association of Australia, Chair of the Property Council’s WA Sustainable Development Committee and also member of the City of Perth’s City Switch Committee.
