This seminar will cover recent trends in professional indemnity litigation and draws on our experience in managing construction claims to highlight the sources of risk for engineers and provide you with some practical tips for managing risk within your practice.  

The seminar will also cover some fundamental insurance issues that engineers need to be aware of in running their practice, such as:  

^  Liability for sub-consultants 
^  Are you covered for costs estimates?
^  The difference between professional indemnity and public liability insurance    

The seminar will conclude with a review of case studies of claims against engineers and other construction professionals.

This interactive session is designed to stimulate discussion of how the claims could have been avoided.
